I met Ossie in 2001 when I joined the Premier Account Group at the JFB.  He was one of the nicest people I have ever met and I was saddened to hear
about his passing. Ossie was always willing to offer his help and expertise. He will be missed. My deepest condolences to his family.

I worked with Ossie at DWP for number of years. He was my mentor when I joined this group. He always had a big smile whenever I went to him.  His genuine kindness always came through. I had the pleasure of working with Ossie for a number of years at DWP. He was always so pleasant and would always have something to say to make you laugh. I sang with the DWP Choraliers and he always looked forward to our performances and was one of my number one fans. My deepest condolences to his family, praying that God will comfort you in the days ahead.

Ossie was a member of our BFF group. My husband, Jun, and I will miss him for sure. His extraordinary wit and good sense of humor will be remembered forever in our hearts. Rest in peace , friend ! Our prayers will help and make you happy & peaceful with our Creator !

Ossie was a very close friend to my family, and a good friend, confidant, teacher, and a helping hand to many, many others.Aside from his remarkable wit and humor, I admire Ossie for his unfailing love and care for his family; and his steadfast faith in the Almighty. I was sad to hear about Ossie's passing. I worked with Ossie for many years. His smiling face and genuine kindness is truly missed. May God give you peace and comfort in the days to come. My prayers are with the family.

Ossie was one of the people who were so helpful to me when I joined their unit at LADWP. If I had a question, he usually had the answer. If he didn't, he was one of the rare ones who would find it and get back to you. Like so many people have said, he always had a smile for you. May he rest in the Lord's eternal peace.

I am so sad to hear that Ossie has passed on.  What a wonderful person-always smiling, always friendly, always ready and willing to help anyone.  He will be missed by many of us.  My heart goes out to his family.

As Ossie and I served LAFACE as PROs during the late 1980s, he introduced me to the world of PC-DOS desktop publishing using PFS:First Publisher. We laboriously initiated the editing and printing of the LAFACE newsletter 'Ang Tambuli' on PC thereby forever abandoning the more expensive traditional printing. His patience and commitment to try 'something new' were all that we needed to succeed. 
Looking back, he contributed in planting that seed of curiosity and hunger for knowledge of computers in me perhaps at an opportune stage of my career in the City of Los Angeles.

Kuya Ossie, I will always love you and will be missing you at all times.  I will miss the greatest buddy of my life.

Dad, what can I say that I haven't already told you.  You were my rock and my "go-to" person for random facts and information.  When I was little, I thought you were the smartest person in the world and now you will forever be the greatest person in my heart.  I love you so much and will miss you dearly.  I know you are in heaven and at peace now.  Continue to watch over us, guide us and protect us.  Until we meet again Dad...

Inexorably we move on, leaving many parts, many memories behind. Yet, these parts, these memories, never really depart for they blend with the continuity of time. We love you Kuya Ossie. Go in peace.

So sorry to hear of Ossie's passing. I worked with Ossie for a number of years.  He was a pleasure to be around.  My sympathy goes out to the entire Cuevas family.

Ossie, I was lucky to know you and to work with you. How friendly you were to everyone. Back in the 90's I remember how you took your family to some event almost every weekend - a wedding or a birthday or an anniversary. You were soft spoken and you had a most wonderful laugh.
Now you are free in the higher realms and we hope you pray for us as we will pray for you.
