Alice Rae Felker, age 91, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2016. Alice was born on March 19, 1925 to Ansel and Bessie Marie (Briggs) Miller in St. Francis, Kansas. She was happily married to Verner Felker from 1945 until his death in 1987. Alice was a long time resident of Sacramento. She worked for the State of California as a legal assistant. After retirement she enjoyed her family, travel, cooking, politics and volunteering in the community and through her church, Northminster Presbyterian. Alice is loved and will be greatly missed by her three children and their families: Verner Felker (Kathie) Lynne Johnson (Mike) and Greg Felker; grandchildren: Wendi, Kelli, Aaron, Greg, Jeff, their spouses and eleven great-grandchildren. The family thanks the staff at Advanced Health Care (Roseville) for their compassionate care.
