Ann Louise Kinnison

Ann Louise was born on February 21, 1933, Reno NV, to Annie Mary Serpentino (Rosasco) and Louis Serpentino. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank Donald Kinnison, Jr. She is survived by two children, Michael Kinnison (Cindy) and Michelle Troja (Joseph), 5 grand-children and 9 great grand-children.

Ann Louise graduated from the University of Nevada Reno, earning her Bachelor in Education. During her tenure she also received her Masters in Education at the California State University Sacramento. She was a proud member of the American Association of University Women, AAUW and a local book section.

Ann Louise was a devoted educator for Folsom Cordova School District for over 30 years, teaching 1st grade at Williamson Elementary School. Her infamous stubborn streak was an inspiration to her students, refusing to give up on them no matter the struggle and continuing those relationships far beyond the school year.

No formal funeral services will be held. She will be laid to rest privately, per her final wishes, in Sacramento, CA, East Lawn Cemetery. A celebration of life has been scheduled for Saturday, 11:30 am, September 23, 2023, and will be held at the Dante Club, Sacramento, CA. In Lieu of Flowers, a donation can be made to SPCA in memory of Ann Louise.
