Arnetta "Billie" Belle McTaggart Becker

On October 27th, 2018, “Billie,” died peacefully at the home of her sister and brother-in-law, Ginny and Pete Rudkin. A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Billie spent time in Michigan and Arizona, before moving to the Sacramento area. In 1968, she started a 19-year tenure at McClellan AFB, earning many service awards along the way. In 1975, she met her future husband, John Becker. John and Billie cherished their friends and family, including their extended Sacramento Moose Lodge family, as former lodge Governor and “first lady!” She and John were members of St. Lukes Lutheran Church. In addition to Pete and Ginny, Billie is survived by brothers Bob and Manual. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, John, Dan, Holly, Pam, Bill, Sharon, and Sue. Billie suffered from dementia the past years but continued to remember the “Lord’s Prayer” to the very end. When shown her and John’s church picture, she would say, “Kingdom of Glory.” We pray that she, John, and all their loved ones are there together, “forever and ever.” Amen. Viewing will be on Wednesday, November 7th, from 6-8pm and with services the following morning, Thursday, November 8th, at 11am, at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento.
