on September 7, 2024 at his home in Dunnigan, Yolo County, California. Born on November 29,
1953 in Los Angeles, California, Barry lived most of his early years in San Diego, and most of
his adult life in Northern California. He was a true lover of the outdoors. Barry often partook in
nature's gifts by walking through forests and fields, past rivers and lakes, and taking long road
trips in his van to see the Northern Lights.
Music was another one of Barry’s passions. Barry could be seen setting a record on his
turntable or rocking out on his guitar. He received his first guitar in 1965 at age 12 and rocked
on until the end. Not only did he play and compose music on several different instruments, he
also DJ’d for several different radio stations. His smooth voice and peaceful demeanor made
him ideal for this. Music truly soothed his soul.
Barry was the beloved son of Howard and Muriel Miller and beloved brother of Robert
Miller. He is survived by his sisters, Jacqueline Miller-Nico and Randi Glaser, his niece Lauren
Zizi, his nephew Taylor Glaser, and his lifelong friend, Paul Grosse. He will be dearly missed by
all who knew him.
