Benny Espineda Ordiz

Benny Ordiz is the son of Benny and Elizabeth. He is a California native - born in Stockton, raised in Delano and passed in Sacramento at the age of 65 surrounded by family. Graduating from Earlimart Jr. High School and Delano High School, he completed his formal education at Long Beach State University where he had the opportunity to travel the world with Long Beach State’s marching band.

Following college, he fought Valley Fever and endured decades of health issues. Despite his health battles, he found goodness and humor in life’s simple moments and successes in everything from his work for the State of California to time spent volunteering for local high school’s music department. He will be remembered always and missed by all who knew him. Benny is survived by Wilma, his wife of 37 years; Kaili his daughter completing her senior year at Berkley; brother, Danny (Nalani) and his nieces and their families. The family sends its sincere gratitude to Dr. Rathore, the nurses and support staff at Kaiser Hospital of Sacramento. Thank you for taking wonderful care of Benny for so many years.

A celebration of his life will be held at 10am on Feb 11th at Nauman & Son Funeral Home on 4041 Freeport Blvd.
