Carl Riddle passed away on June 9, 2016, surrounded by his children, in Sacramento at the age of 80. He was born in Ada, Oklahoma on July 12, 1935 to Carl and Roneta "Dolly" Riddle. He graduated from Sacramento High School in 1954 and served active duty in the United States Army from 1958 to 1960. He worked at the Southern Pacific Railroad for more than 30 years before retiring in 1992. He was preceded in death by his mother, Roneta "Dolly" Carey and sister Clara Young. He is survived by his daughter Kristin Usery and sons Kevin (Elizabeth) and Keith, grandchildren Angelina, Johnna, Larissa and Kaitlin, and great grandchild Kyrie. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Mercy General ICU doctors, nurses and staff for the compassionate care they provided to Carl during his final days.
