Dear God, 

I learned yesterday that just over a year ago you called Crystal to come home and be with you in the Kingdom of Heaven. God, I have to tell you that her smile will light up Heaven with love and happiness like it did here on earth. God watch over Crystal and keep her close to you! She is a beautiful soul that will always shine bright.....I ask this In Jesus name.... AMEN. 

Florez Family - My family and I have been friends with your family for many years. I have seen your kids grow up to become amazing adults, awesome parents, and just plain amazing people. Every time my family and I came in to the restaurant, Crystal would make it a point to come over and say hello, asked about our family and would talk about her family. She was an amazing woman, who inspired and touched peoples lives. Take comfort in knowing that now you have a special guardian angel to watch over you. God Bless...

Florez Family--I just learned of Crystal's passing and am so sorry for your loss.  I've been coming to the restaurant since she was little and always remembered her smiling and happy face.  She would always come and sit with me for a few minutes, to say "hello, how are you doing, etc."  What a wonderful angel and such a caring and beautiful lady! Florez family, I am so sorry. You all are in my prayers. Crystal was an amazing young woman. We had so much fun working together at the restaurant (my first job) and I'll always smile as I remember her telling me to duck and roll to greet new customers. She was always so happy and cheerful and a joy to be around. She will be greatly missed.

I was Crystal's teacher for two years at Capital City  and I just adored her. She always had a radiant smile, a charming personality, and a ready laugh. You just always felt upbeat when she was around. She loved her family and their traditions. I often ate at the Florez restaurant and saw Crystal hard at work. We felt her passing like the passing of a family member. Crystal was a very kind and graceful person. She always attended to us to make us feel at home. Her bright smile, and we would always have something to laugh about. We will miss you, but we will remember that everyday there was something we could smile about, as you have shown us we could.

My dad has been going to the restaurant for years and years. Crystal knew our family - my parents, my sisters, my nephews and nieces. She always came over to our table to say hi, even when she wasn't waiting on us. Thank you, Crystal, for sharing your light with us over the years. Brunch back home won't be the same without you.

I still can't believe it.  Crystal will be missed.  I remember her as hard working, optimistic, and always smiling.  I will miss our conversations.

Crystal was one of the most optimistic, thoughtful, strong willed individuals I've ever had a pleasure getting to know. She made a positive impact on all of the students and staff of Federico. Words can not express the sorrow I feel about the loss of Crystal. She often talked about her dreams of opening her own salon and how inspired she was by her father and how hard working he is. I'm going to miss her and I send all my prayers and condolences to your family in this difficult time.
