David served in the Vietnam War for the United States Marines. For Aviation Detachment David received national Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, and Vietnam Campaign Medal with Device & Rifle Marksman Badge. David was also granted the title of evangelist, credentials of ministry, as well as awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity Degree, and a Masters degree in religion from the Universal Life Church.
David is survived by his loving wife, Robin Carter, his son Michael Carter, daughter Lisa Carter, and granddaughter Ashley Carter. Stepchildren Adam Whiter & family, Fumiko Torres & family, Jackie & family & Kenny.
David loved when his son would visit from LA. We didn’t get to see him much because of his work.
Robin and David loved going to the casino. Loved going out to dinner, to the movies, even bowling.
David loved seeing his grandchildren. Robin loved David with her whole heart.
David will be truly missed by all who knew him.
