A teacher and football coach at California Junior High School, Dave enjoyed duck hunting, friendships, and his home in Clarksburg. He shared 55 years with his wife, Claudean.
Dave is survived by Claudean; his son, David; his stepdaughter, Jill; his youngest brother, Terry; and his four-legged friend, Frankie.
A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at Bogle Winery in Clarksburg on Monday, October 26, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Whenever someone said, “See you later,” Dave always replied, “I hope so.”
