

Dick Schoemer, 84, passed away peacefully January 3rd 2017 in Sacramento, CA. Dick was born September 13th, 1932 in Sanger California to parents Wilbur and Edna Schoemer. He was a resident of Sacramento since 1963 who had a multitude of hobbies and interests. Dick belonged to the Auburn Cord and Duesenberg Automobile Club (ACD) for many years while he restored and showed a 1937 Cord which won 1st place trophies in many car shows. He made many home improvements, liked gardening, was an avid sports enthusiast, and enjoyed his luck at Indian casinos. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, grandparents Vena and Ross Owen, uncle and aunt Hugh and Emma Lawrence. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Dolores House Schoemer, his children, Pam Schoemer, Jeanine Estrada and Dan Estrada, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
