Born on December 1, 1933 in Laurel, Mississippi to Joeathus and Ellin McCullum. Passed away on January 19, 2012 in Sacramento, California. Doris is survived by her loving husband, Andrew D. Collins. Beloved children, Janice Zipporah Webster of San Francisco, Andrew D. Collins, Jr. of San Francisco, Barbara Ann Collins of Sacramento, Iris Cristel Walker of Elk Grove, Romandia Lashone Collins of Sacramento and Eugene Scott Collins of Sacramento. Ten cherished grandchildren and 1 precious great grandchild. Sister to, Gerald Preston McCullum of Pacifica, James Earl McCullum of San Francisco, Emma Clair Patterson of Kokomo, IN, Eloise Richmond of Peoria, Il, Athus Charles McCullum of AppleValley MN and John Henry McCullum of Peoria, Il.

Preceded in death by brothers, Archie, King Arthur and Wallace McCullum and sisters, Reatha Pearl Whitney and Nettie Mae Hightower.

Family and friends are invited to the wake on Thursday, January 26, 2012 between the hours of 3 and 8 PM and to funeral services on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11 o’clock in the morning at Harry A. Nauman & Son, Land Park Funeral Chapel, 4041 Freeport Blvd. A brief reception will be held before burial, burial is scheduled for 2 PM on Friday at East Lawn, Sierra Hills Cemetery, 5757 Greenback Lane, Sacramento.
