Edwin R Brown

Edwin passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2014. Ed was born in Syracuse, New York on October 31, 1952 and moved with his family to California as a child. After graduating high school, Ed worked as a landscaper and as a millwright, and later on worked in the automobile industry as a mechanic and a service writer. Ed was known for his kind and generous spirit and he would do anything for anybody when asked. Ed died from cardiac disease and had been in declining health for a number of months. Ed is survived by his siblings John, Paula, James, Sandra and Carol; his cousin, chuck as well as by numerous nieces and nephews and many, many friends. He will be greatly missed by all. The family wants to thank the physicians and staff at the Heart Transplant Clinic at Sutter memorial hospital who provided such expert and compassionate care. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd. Sacramento, CA. Following the service there will be a reception in Ed’s honor at River Life Church, 4401 A St. Sacramento, CA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sierra Donor Services or to the charity of your choice.
