This is so shocking and heartbreaking. You and your family have my deepest sympathy. Rick was one of the best people I have ever worked with and a treasure of a friend.

I think about our early days at the Capitol often and with great fondness. In particular, I will remember his love of tater tots and for water skiing with you and friends.

Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you and your family in this terribly difficult time. May God bless you all and welcome Rick into the Kingdom.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. Way too soon. I had the pleasure of working with Rick at UST (while Rick did government relations in Pacific region, I handled government relations in Great Lakes region) and since though we haven't been in contact too frequently in recent years. I was shocked and saddened to hear of Rick's passing and your family has been in my thoughts and in my prayers every day since. I'm so sorry.

I first met you and Rick when I was enjoying my “first” retirement from Pacific Bell, working as “The Engineer of First Impressions” at Capitol Athletic Club. (Little did I know, at the time, that soon thereafter, I would be working with you when I returned to SBC for my second stint.) I believe you were dating at the time, but you were soon engaged and married. The memories I have of Rick are his love for playing basketball at CAC and that his bachelor party was a trip to the Kentucky Derby! I thought that was pretty cool 😎 He truly lived life to the fullest. I’m so sorry for your loss, Deborah. Please know I am keeping you and your family near to me in this difficult time ❤️
