Ernest "Ernie" John Gabrielli

Died at age 89 on January 6, 2013. Beloved son of the late Fanny Giovannoni Gabrielli

and Oreste Gabrielli. Loving grandson of the late Marianna Magi Giovannoni and

Lodovico Giovannoni and Adelinda Caselli Gabrielli and Mateo Gabrielli.

Beloved brother of the late Jennie Marie Gabrielli and Giovanni Gabrielli.

Survived by many loving relatives, friends and earthly guardian angel, Dolores Gabrielli. Also, a

special thank you to both Marie Van Dyke-Worsham and Frank Galli for their love and support.

Ernie served in the Army during World War II and worked for the State Board of Equalization for

43 years. He resided in East Sacramento in the home he was born for 87 years and at the

Carlton Crown Plaza for the last two and a half years.

Many thanks to Father John Healy, Sister Caritas, Dr. Andrew Factor, Dr. Emil Tanghetti, Nick

and Willie from Palm Valley Care, and Sutter Hospice for their kindness and compassion at the

end of Ernie’s life.

Visitation to take place from 4:00 to 5:00 PM on Thursday, January 10th, at Nicoletti Funeral

Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd. The funeral mass will be at 12:00 PM on Friday, January 11th, at St.

Joseph’s Chapel at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 6700 21st Avenue.
