I am terribly sad to learn of Gene's passing. I knew him for many, many years at the Telecommunications Division at General Services. He was always a happy go lucky man, who smiled a lot and was kind to everyone. When I was new to the Telecom. Division I could always go to Gene if I had questions regarding how things were done. He always was kind in sharing his knowledge. He helped anyone he could, whenever he could. He loved and talked about his family often. He liked going out to lunch with friends, and sharing red wine. He was just a kind, caring, loving human being and he will be greatly missed; but never forgotten.
