Evelyn will be missed dearly. She was a very good friend to all and was always there to help a friend in need. Granted she was known as "Miss Avon" always caring and loving.

To all of Dear Evelyn's family;

I send my family's regards and sorrow for your loss. She was my mother's friend, neighbor and Avon lady and she always used to remind me that I was her first Avon customer back when I was only 16. (I'm 63 now.) Last time I saw her was at my own mom's funeral in Sacramento in April of last year. She loved to go out to eat and often we would go to Marie Calendar's on Freeport Boulevard in Sacramento when I was in town visiting my mom. She was kind and she will be missed.

I will miss your laugh Grandma.  It always came from the bottom of your toes and made us laugh right along.  Your circle of friends is testimony to your giving heart.  I am so thankful  I heard "I love you" one last time...I will carry it with me forever.  Give Grandpa Dick a huge hug from all of us.  And I am so sorry we used to put the caterpillars on your back just to watch you run....kinda :). Love you to the moon!

All your nieces and nephews will miss you.  You were always there during the special events of our Nelson family.  Always pleasant and caring of young children..and you can't forget her cats.  I am so glad she didn't die alone, she had Jean, Myron's ex-wife, watching out for her.  Now she can be with "the love of her life" her husband, Dick.  So don't be sad for her I am sure she is loving being by his side again.
