With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Gabrilla Laverne Lozoya, who departed this life on May 27, 2025, at the age of 77.

Born on August 8, 1948, Gabrilla was a devoted caregiver and matriarch who spent her life nurturing others. She owned and operated her own daycare, where she lovingly cared for countless children, each one she embraced as her own. Her compassion extended far beyond her profession; she selflessly cared for many family members and played an instrumental role in raising her grandchildren.

Gabrilla will be remembered for her fun-loving spirit, kind heart, resilient nature, and strong will. Her unwavering devotion to her family was the foundation of her life and legacy.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Prodencio “Pete” and Drusilla Peig; her husband, Antonio Lozoya; and her son, Robert R. Lozoya.

Gabrilla is survived by her son, Antonio Lozoya Jr (Wendy Lozoya); her cherished grandchildren, Danielle Lozoya, Alyssa Lozoya (Seanton McGee), Roberto Lozoya, Stephanie Lozoya, Katie Lozoya, and Tony Lozoya; and her adored great-grandchild, Taylor Nelson and her sister Annie Aquitania.

Her love, strength, and joyful presence will remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
