March 21, 1933 - Sept. 14, 2015 George Edward Clark, Jr., passed away at age 82. He was born in Turlock, California to George and Velma Clark. George graduated from Benicia High School in 1951 and attended Vallejo College and Sacramento City College. George joined the U.S. Army and, upon completion of his service, he finished his degree at Sacramento State College graduating with his Bachelor of Arts. George was a long time employee of CSEA in Sacramento for nearly 40 years and represented many of the local college professors and state workers in the Northern California Region. George was a novelist and enjoyed sailing and fishing. He is survived by daughters Karen Burns and Susan Rogers, son Patrick Clark and six grandchildren. In addition he leaves behind his two sisters Joanna Sypkens and Gloria Clark Brown and brother Ronald Clark as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at 2pm at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento, CA.
