Helen Vassilopoulos Anderson

Helen Vassilopoulos Anderson was born on December 14, 1924 in Spokane, Washington and passed away on December 17, 2016 in Sacramento, California. Helen grew up in Sacramento where she attended high school and college. She worked for many years as a legal secretary. Helen was very proud of her Greek heritage and she enjoyed reading and learning more about its significance throughout her life. Helen enjoyed watching television and reading anything that pertained to politics and current events, which helped keep her mind razor sharp to the end. Helen had a daughter, Denise Anderson. She is survived by her nephew George Pappas, his wife Barbara and their family. Her two nieces Sophia and Nikie Vassilopoulos of Oklahoma City. The family would like to express their gratitude to Lee-Anna Postnikoff for her many years of devoted care to Helen. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on December 23, 2016 at 11:00am at East Lawn Elk Grove, at 9189 E Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624.
