Howard W. Stanford of Sacramento left this earth peacefully on December 13, 2014. Predeceased by his wife, Grace, of 56 years. Survived by, daughters Geraldine (Nori) Shirvanian of Arizona, Catherine (Gilbert) Butler of Folsom and Ralph Stanford of Sacramento. Beloved Grandfather of Evan (Katherine), Erica and Venessa Butler and Larissa Schooler. Born in Bradford, PA, July 1, 1930. HE Came to California while stationed with the Navy in San Francisco where he met and married Grace DePaul. He was a career Civilian Employee at McClellan AFB and a Life Member of Elks Lodge #6. In retirement, Howard and Grace enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends. Visitation Sunday 2PM to 6PM at Harry A. Nauman & Son Funeral Home, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento CA. 95822. Funeral Service Monday at 10:30 First Baptist Church, 2324 L Street, Sacramento. Interment will follow at East Lawn Cemetery. Memorials in his memory can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
