Jesusita “Tasing” A. Domatol was born on May 2, 1927 to the late Juan and Crispina Ambalong in the town of Larena, Siquijor Philippines. She was the 4th of five children. Her father Juan Ambalong passed away when she was eight years old and her mother Crispina Ambalong remarried to Saturnino Macalolo-oy he took full responsibility to the whole family and they all became professionals.
After graduating from University of San Carlos in Cebu City she went to Mindanao and worked as a school teacher.
She married Fausto Domatol and migrated to United States to join her husband in Rio Vista. They moved to San Francisco where she worked, and bought a house. Her husband Fausto Domatol passed away a couple of years later. She retired and remarried to John Izzo. They both enjoyed traveling
and gardening.
She is survived by her sister, Jessica M. Padayhag; brother in law, Roland D. Padayhag; niece, Sunday P. Rosa and husband, Paul Rosa; nephew, Troy M. Padayhag and Cristina; grand niece, Sunday May;
grand nephews, AR, Justin and Matthew
The family is receiving friends for Jesusita on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822. A Recitation of The Holy Rosary will occur Friday, September 3, 2021 at 7:00 PM, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822. A Mass of Christian burial will occur Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Holy Spirit Church, 3159 Land Park Drive, Sacrametno, CA 95818. A committal service will occur Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 2:30 PM at St Mary Cemetery, 6700 21st Ave, Sacramento, CA 95820.
Serving as pallbearers are Troy Padayhag, Justin Padayhag, Andre Rainier P. Hinaut, Ian Sinapuelas, Dennis Sumaylo and jerome Sumaylo.
