Jilda E. Tamantini

Born on May 26, 1919 in Sacramento, CA to Louie and Rose Lagomarsino. Jilda peacefully passed away on May 21, 2011 in Sacramento, CA. Loving wife of the late Nick Tamantini who she was married to for over 55 years. She is survived by her loving children, Louie Tamantini and Josephine Vanderlans and her sister, Alma Stassi. She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Bert Vanderlans, Cindy Hazard, Sonya Evans, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jilda was sister to the late Vera Servetto, George, Eugene and Henry Lagomarsino. Jilda will be sadly missed by the many friendships that she cultivated over her nearly 92 years in Sacramento. Family and friends are welcome to attend the visitation on Wednesday, May 25 between 3:00 and 7:00pm, as well as her Services on her birthday, Thursday, May 26 at 10:00am, both at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd. 451-7284. Entombment will take place at St. Mary's Cemetery at 6700 21st Ave., Sacramento, CA. ''Anyone who knew Jill knew how much she loved animals.
