John and Virginia were dear friends of my mother Patricia Kimbrell. I am grateful for their many years of friendship.

My great uncle Johnny, u will be missed. From what I remember when I was a little girl,you were always so nice and always cracking funny jokes :) wish i had gotten to spend more time with you growing up. But it was great hearing all the stories of u and papa and all you brothers.Make sure u tell papa hi for me and give him a huge and a kiss. I'm sure all you brothers are loving playing some golf up there. We love and miss you all. Rip Johnny. And to virginia, I love you.

Hi Grandpa!  Mom and I had a good cry over you this morning.  We have been going through all your pictures and reminiscing. What a handsome man you were!  I especially love the silly pictures of you playing with me, Denise, Mat, and Donny.  You were a kindhearted, fun, and loving man.  Missing you!

Johnny I wanna thank you for teaching me how to play pool back in the day, its something for me to remember, and how you lived down the street from me. You  Virginia and I used to go to the Corker Club and play pool. I love you and going to miss you. I'll be with you shortly it won't be long.

Wow! Uncle John, I just heard you have left us and have gone to the mansion in heaven. You passed on my birthday. I am very happy for you. You were one of the best uncles I could have asked for. I will never forget the Father, Daughter St Joseph Grad dinner we went to together. I really appreciated you standing in for the occaison. If you had been my dad I would have been very proud to announce it. For all the teasing you dished out through the years and hanging drapes for me and my friends I thank you.

Goodbye Uncle Johnny. Now all the brothers are together; and my dad was the first waiting with open arms. I remember how much fun we use to have when you would bring Cindy up to Lake Tahoe with us; and when I use to bring Michael over your house to swim. I will miss you always. Aunt Virginia, Cindy, and family, take comfort in knowing who he's with, and that he's at peace. You now have a new angel watching over you.

You taught me everything I know, helped me everynight with my homework, taught me how to write my first check and have given me the most unforgetable guidance which has made me the person I am today.  You are resposible for all I have become and took the role as my father when my own was absent.  I will be lost without your wisdom.

 Dear Uncle John, your presents here in this life has been such a blessing to me.
 Sadness is all around me, though I'm comforted to know that you are with Dad and the rest of our family who has gone home.

I am so very sorry for your loss.   John was such a neat guy.

I knew him way back when I was just a kid working with his sister-in-law, Mary Latino at an insurance company.   We all hung out together on Friday nights after the boys night out and the girls night out.

I know there are many good memories from the old days and the new--find peace in those wonderful memories as they will get your through the sad times.
