I worked for Kathie when she was the swing shift CII Supervisor in RAPP. I was the SPT III. We became good friends. Kathie was a good supervisor and fair. She left RAPP to go to The command center job sharing with Iva Lou Woodring. A year later when I had a chance to be a CIIS in the command center Kathie was the first person I called for advice. I will miss her

Such a sad day to see Kathie has passed. She and I met 56 years ago in school. We ended up together in the same sewing class and also shared the same sewing basket only because our last names both started with w...hers being Wills and mine Wilton. We were both 12 years old at the time. So we ended up being best friends for many years. Along with my sister Dianne, the three of us would do everything together including visiting the library and getting scowls from the librarian for being too noisy. After graduating from high school I moved away and my communication with Kathie was pretty much limited to Christmas and birthday cards. She had the best sense of humor and I'll always remember our teenage years with Kathie. She was such a good friend. God rest her soul.

Kath, I will miss our Saturday night B street adventures, our dinners, and our daily check in phone calls. Most of all, I thank God for the people who helped you stay at home during the last 2 1/2 months of your life, for the friends and family who would contact you, and for the blessed way that the Lord took you home. I am so thrilled you didn't suffer, and in a blink of an eye, were with your Mom, Dad and Rich. I am still reaching for the phone, wanting to talk. Will see you soon my friend. All our lives in this life are so short. But we will all have eternity to be with God.

I worked with Kathie 27 years ago at the DOJ.
She was a wonderful person with a big hart. One of the greatest supervisors you could have.
She will be missed.

What a loss this is. Kathleen and I were kindred souls in both our core beliefs and love of animals. She was the best cousin a person could hope for. I'll miss her dearly.
