Katrice Vivian

Katrice is survived by mother Kandice McMurry, and father Mark White of Oakland Ca; Children, DeMarco Brodnax Sr. DeAndre Vivian, DeAnthony Vivian; siblings Lawana Montgomery, Mark White, Michael White and Denise White, alongside seven additional siblings. She is preceded in death by grandchildren: DeMarco Brodnax ll, DeMya Brodnax, Taji’onna Kennedy, Destinee Foy, DeLycia Brodnax, Desyrae Brodnax, Keon Jones, DeAndre Vivian Jr., DeAsia Vivian, DeMarion Vivian, DeAnthony Vivian Jr., Robbie Corpos and great grandson DeMarco Brodnax, of Sacramento Ca. Nephews; Demond Washington, D’Mario Scoggins and Antione McCullough Neices; Ashley Rivers, Alexis Montgomery, DeMantra Williams and a host of family and friends.

Katrice was born on November 30, 1967, in East Pal Alto Ca, to Mark White and Kandice McMurry. She graduated from Oakland Technical High School in 1985. She married Ahmad Vivian, a Boiler maker, rebuilder of refineries in 2011. After moving to Sacramento, Ca. Katrice began working for Verizon as a Call Center Supervisor. Katrice’s children remember her as a loving, patient, and driven mother who encouraged them to pursue their dreams and goals.

Katrice was skilled in cooking and educating friends and family on different wines as a wine connoisseur and often hosted dinners, for friends, and family on weekends, and holidays. Katrice was generous and very dedicated to her family. She was an individual who loved being around family and looking beautiful. Katrice was passionate about her furry friends, she absolutely loved her dogs, King, Queen, poppy and Co-Co Chanel. She was an active and dedicated grandmother, who loved all her grandchildren dearly. Katrice actively attended football practices, games, and graduations in support of her grandchildren.

A funeral is scheduled for November 4, 2023, 11:00am at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home 5401 Folsom Blvd Sacramento ca, 95819, with a reception to follow in the onsite event room. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Katrice’s life. The family would like to thank everyone for their efforts and care.
