

Passed away at home surrounded by his family March 11, 2012. He was born December 30, 1921 in Salida, CA to Oliver and Ada (Hope) Seese. He grew up in Modesto, CA and graduated from Modesto High School. A decorated veteran of World War II, he served in the 44th Signal Corp. He and his group provided war time communication for the President. Receiving Medals of Good Conduct, American Theater Ribbon, World War II Victory Ribbon, and awarded by Congress, the Legion of Merit. He moved to Sacramento, CA in 1955 to begin his career in communications, building KBET, now KXTV Channel 10. He then went to work as the first employee of Jampro Antennas Inc. He then began a long career with AFRTS and TASA as a project engineer, traveling the world and working for all the branches of the Armed Forces.
He was greeted at the gates by his loving wife Darlene, his parents Oliver & Ada Seese, parents-in-law Fred & Thelma Davolt, sister Irene Nichols & brother-in-law Reo Davolt. He will be greatly missed by his sister Evelyn Davolt, brother-in-law Perry Nichols, and his 5 children Larry, Jared (Janie), David (Lydia), Mark (Donna) Seese & Janeane (Fred) Armstrong; 12 grandchildren Susan (Jerry), Scott (Nicole), Michael (Brandi), Keri (Wes), Jason (Shannon), Jared (Maria), Rebekah (Rudy), Sharon (Josh), Mark Jr., Shannan (Jeff), Darlene (Nick), & Frederick. He was Grandpa Great to 27 great-grandchildren and many many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be held Monday 3/19/2012, 10:00 am at Harry Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95822, with a graveside service at 2:00 pm at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson, CA 95326.
