Dear Louise: I just found out today about your passing and my heart  is crying, as I did not know about your illness, nor have the opportunity to visit you during those hard moments you were going through. I am shocked, but understand that God needed you in Heaven, as you were an Earth Angel for all of us who knew you. My family & I will always remember you "con carino, mi vieja." May God give your son Jesse, your sister Esther, and brother Jesse, the strength to accept that you are now in a better place.  Gracias por dejar tan profunda huella en mi vida. I will forever keep your memory in my heart.

Louise, my long time friend, I am sorry to hear of your passing. My greatest sympathy to your family. You have always been a role model to me, since I first met you, almost 30 years ago, and in my many years of activism. You have helped many people, and have motivated many to give back to our community. God Bless You and please stay with us in spirit, as our work is not done yet. Over the years I would run into Louise and she always had a smile, a hug and a kind word to say. It didn't matter if she had just seen the day before or months had passed between meetings.
What I remember most are the days she and Esther would babysit me, my sisters and brother. Thank you for the beautiful memories and especially the words of wisdom over the years.

Our area lost a lot with the passing of Louise Perez.  Louise's unquestioned integrity, great vision and determination made her one of the finest non-profit executives in the region.  I am grateful to have known and learned from her these past twenty years.  May her fine example continue to serve as an inspiration to others for years to come!

The world has lost a beautiful, truly kind and genuine woman.  Louise was so nice to everyone; she made me fill like family. Louise was very generous and enjoyed helping others; she has left her wisdom with many to carry on her good work.   I will miss her smile, she radiated kindness. I pray you find comfort in knowing that she is now at peace in Paradise where there is no suffering, only happiness and beauty for eternity. My aunt Louise, you are truly one of my role models. You always gave me the best advice and no matter what I had going on in my life you always told me how proud you were of me. One of my special moments I'll never forget is when you came to my 8th grade graduation and I received a medal for math and also I was on honor roll 4.0 gpa you were sooo proud of me and you pat my cheeks and told me my mija I'm soooo proud of you. All I wanted was to make all of you proud and I did! You always took care of me and my brother by always giving us positive words. My aunt Louise, each time I played the sissy's song by Alan jackson all I can think of is you just being healthy and happy up in heaven. I missed you so much!!!! Happy Mother's Day aunt Louise.

Our sweet and dear Auntie Louise, I will miss you so much and I cry at the thought of not seeing or hearing your voice but I also know that you are resting and watching over us with a big smile. My Loving Tia Louisita, I know you are sitting up in Heaven watching over us now. My deepest sympathies for the family and many friends of Louise.  She was a vibrant, intelligent, involved, and dedicated woman of enormous influence.  Louise worked tirelessly to uplift others.  I was proud to have worked together with her on task forces at the State Department of Community Services and Development.  Her generous spirit will live on in my memory.
