Maejune was born on June 28, 1943 to Anthony and Rachel Vasallo in Sacramento, CA and passed away in her hometown on May 9, 2014. She will be remembered for the time she dedicated volunteering at St. Anne’s Catholic Church and being an active member of the Native Daughters. When Maejune wasn’t traveling, tending to the animals she loved or volunteer efforts, she could be found working on word puzzles. Maejune was a wonderful wife, loving mother and doting grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband of 48 years Ronald Bacher; children Jason and Jenn Bacher and grandchildren Curtis and Kennedee.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Maejune’s name to St. Anne’s Maintenance Fund or Christian Brother’s High School. Services will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church, 7724 24th St. Sac, CA; starting with a viewing from 10-10:30am, followed by a Rosary service at 10:30am and Funeral Mass at 11am. Interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
