She was also on her church softball and Volleyball teams as well as a recreational bowling league. Marianne was the first female letter carrier for the U.S. post office in Sacramento. She was a member of Riverside United Methodist Church and later founding member of Grace Evangelical Free Church. She was known for her cake decorating work as well as her small craft ceramic business, C&C Ceramics; where she made many friends in a local crafting community. She could always be seen coaching her kids youth sports teams when she wasn’t a champion spectator for them. Marianne was very proud that her birthday was on Independence Day. Marianne.....one of a wonderful kind!
I began by being grateful to her for loving my Dad and taking such good care of him in his later years. I loved her children who are the best of all of us. I loved our family holidays that always found Marianne in the same chair offering all the advice we could stand in one day.
Along the way, Marianne became so much more to me....a beloved friend, a good listener, part of the very fabric of this family.
I miss her.

We are grieving over Marianne's death..and sorry the Covid rule and regs have gotten in the way of Saturday's Funeral plans.
Marianne was always up for a party so I'm certain she will still be present in spirit when we can eventually make it right.
My wish is for love and peace to bring comfort to Susie..Mike and Mary..her offspring and 3 young people I/we dearly love!
