MARK, YOU WERE A WONDERFUL FATHER, SON AND FRIEND TO ALL WHO KNEW YOU. I REMEMBER ONE OF PARTIES WE HAD AT OUR HOUSE WHERE YOU DANCED WITH GEORGE SPECIALE, WHAT A SIGHT!! ALWAYS FUN LOVING AND SO MUCH LIKE YOUR DAD. WE WILL MISS YOU AND THINK OF YOU FONDLY.

Mark, I've spent many hours thinking about you since I heard the news you were gone too soon. I miss you very much, dear friend. I'm proud to have known you and have great respect for your service to your country and for taking on the unknown by raising your baby daughter into a beautiful young woman. Your strong family values and the tremendous unconditional friendship you gave to those around you are what I will always remember. I can't ever remember you saying a harsh word about anyone, but you were always quick with that wonderful smile and a sparkle in your eye. Until we meet again, Mark!

Mark, you were a great friend who always had a smile for me or a joke. I will always remember the great times we shared, the backpac trips we made the fishing we did. I was so lucky to share a week with you last September, I was so proud of you overcomming all your hurdles. You were my best man at my wedding 30 years ago and I could not have asked for a better bestman. God bless you mark and I will see you again, maybe we can sit on a mountian top and look over the world together, I'll miss you Mark. God bless your Mom, Dan, Elizabeth and the rest of your family. I met Mark at the Jazz Jubilee in 2000 when I was dating his friend/partner Dennis Speciale.I remember how welcome he made me feel and how funny he was. He would do anything to help if he could. I will remember him on his Jazz Jubilee Hall of Fame ride in the parade 2011, complete with his signature hat and sunglasses. He will be missed by all who knew him. Sadly, Connie Speciale
