Mary Thelma Hoskins, 89, of Sacramento, CA passed peacefully passed away at a nursing home in Grass Valley on Saturday, October 11, 2013. She was born November 14, 1923 in Ponca City, OK to LC and Hallett Stevens. She was married twice, both husbands proceeded her in death.
Mary had one daughter, Wanda Hollowell, who preceded her in death, who was married to William C. Hollowell. Surviving are her two sons, Michael Stevenson and Ron Stevenson both of Sacramento, CA. Three grandchilren, Curtis, Cory, and Schanda Hollowell, all reside in Sacramento, CA, along with numerous great grandchildren.
Mary was a long time resident of Sacramento where she lived since leaving her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mary loved to cook and enjoyed being with her family. She attended church and enjoyed volunteering in the community.
The viewing service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, at 5401 Folsom Blvd, Sacramento, CA. The funeral service will be held on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 4:30 pm at the same location.
