Matthew Milton DeFrank, born December 17, 1985 and passed away on September 10, 2026 in Sacramento, California at the age of 40. He is survived by his parents, Joedy and Karen DeFrank and brother Phillip(Amanda) DeFrank, his niece, Elliana and nephew, Enzo DeFrank. Matthew is also survived by his Aunt Debbie(“Unca” Tom) Harrison, Aunti Anne(Uncle Alois) Peter, Uncle Greg(Aunt Robin)Daley and Uncle Tim(Aunt Maribeth) Daley, and many cousins.
Matthew will be remembered for his kindness and generous heart, his love for his family and friends, his love of plants and his love for cooking. He will also be remembered for his love of: his dogs, Luna and Loki, for all things spooky, the Chargers and a good cigar.
A Celebration of Life service will take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Saint Ignatius Church, 3235 Arden Way, Sacramento, CA at 11:00am. Reception will follow. Interment will be private at a later date.
