Mercedes 'Irene' Manno

Born on Aug. 24, 1915, in Fresno, CA and passed away on Sept. 30, 2014 in Sacramento, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband of 33 yrs., Frederick Manno, her brother, and 4 sisters. She is survived by her sister Laura Martin, her son Peter Manno (Mary), her daughter Marian Romitti (Robert), 6 grandchildren; John Manno (Cindy), Timothy Manno (Jill), Monica Graham (Robin), Jana Hunt, Robert Romitti (Melissa), Tina Romitti, and 9 great-grandchildren; Timothy Manno, John Manno Jr., Robert Romitti, Cooper Hunt, Charlotte Graham, Anthony Manno, Dominic Manno, Henry Graham, and Isabella Manno.

She loved her family, gardening, and cooking.

Family and friends are invited to Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home, 5401 Folsom Blvd. in Sacramento for a Visitation on Thursday Oct.2nd from 4-7pm with a Vigil Service at 7pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday Oct. 3rd at

11 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 1333 58th St. Sacramento, with a committal service to follow.
