Michael Steven Cortopassi, born on June 27, 1954, passed away on January 19, 2016 and joined his dear father Enrico Cortopassi, beloved Aunt Carmella (Corky) Russell, Grandfathers Enrico Sr. and William, and Grandmothers Ada and Evelyn. A lifelong resident of Sacramento, he is survived by his mother Lavonne (Lee) Cortopassi, sister Darcy Cortopassi Seppi, nieces Erin Vogler and Robin Randall, nephew Nicolaus Seppi, and many great nieces and nephews. A graduate of Jesuit High School and Sacramento State College, he was an active member of the Italian community and a member of the Dante Club for many years. He will be forever missed by his many friends, family, and the community. A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring. Donations can be made to your charity of choice.
