Mike was my roommate in Tech School. He had an infectious smile and personality that would light up the whole dorm. He got me into listening to music like yellowcard, and gave me my first taste of laid back west coast vibes. I remember him  and I playing NCAA 05 on Xbox and we watched the super bowl together that year. He was so funny, and I’ll never forget how he would sound saying my nickname “freaking lazy Mack”. I don’t know how I stumbled upon this news. I think about my own mortality at 40, along with my time in the USAF and the family I gained along the way. He stood thee hell out for sure.
