Nicholas was born in modesto, California on September 7,1955 to Steve and Dena Jordan. He graduated from El Camino High School and American River College.
After graduating from college, he worked at Jordan Management Company. Following the passing of his father, Steve Jordan, he became president of Jordan Management Company.
To share a few interests of Nick, it was in his younger days that he discovered how much he enjoyed music. He was in a band and practiced in a garage. Nick loved playing the percussions with the band members and performing for friends. He enjoyed playing baseball on his little league baseball team. In highschool, he played on the junior varsity football team and was on the wrestling team. Since his dad played football in highschool and also on the wrestling team, they had a bond. He liked that bond they had together.
Nick and his family were active members of the Greek Church. His father, Steve Jordan, was a parish council member for numerous years. He also was on the first board of directors of the Hellenic Senior Center.
Nicks father also belonged to the Order of Ahepa and his mother was a member of the Daughters of Penelope. Nick was a member of the Sons of Pericles and his sisters were members of the Maids of Athena. Steve and Dena also served as advisors for the Sons and Maids and as chaperones for the social events. At times when the other parishes came from the Bay Area to Sacramento for an event or glendi, Steve and Dena would also have the kids overnight in their home.
Nick along with his sisters enjoyed being involved in numerous fundraisers. They also attended the Sons of Pericles Basketball Tournament and made a lot of Greek friends when traveling to other parishes. Nick was known as a very sweet guy and charmed all the girls with his pretty blue eyes.
One of the ministries of the Greek Orthodox Church of Annunciation is called YAL "The Young Adult League" as a member Nick really enjoyed being apart of the YAL.
One of the events YAL participated in was the involvement at the St. Nicholas ranch and retreat Center in Squaw valley, California. It was something he thought was special. He was very proud of the trees they all planted. this event was done along with father James Retelas and george Papailias and many other YAL members.
A funeral is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Monday May 4, 2026 at the Greek Orthodox Church of the Annunciation at 616 Alhambra Boulevard Sacramento, California. The family invites you to be a part of the reception that will follow next door in the church hall.
Father Timothy Robinson, Associate Priest will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Nick's life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to St. Nicholas Ranch and Retreat Center in Squaw Valley, California.
The family would like to thank his caregivers. Nick had quite a few caregivers in the past years however; his favorite were his current caregivers he had for the past three years, Melanie and Raymond. His sisters are thankful Nick received great care from them. They truly were concerned with his health.
In closing I would like to share a thought his sister Mary Lou said,
"Nicholas was a gentle soul of wit and humor at peace at last"
