Nona Marlene Brown, born on June 29, 1936 in Madera, CA passed away peacefully on Mother’s Day, May 8, 2016 at 79 years of age. She now resides alongside her beloved husband Kenneth of 58 years and cherished parents William and Nona Irwin within the gates of heaven where she will be gladly accepted and able to resume without doubt her culinary talents for lavishly decorated cakes, delightful hors d’oeuvres and sumptuous feasts. She is survived by her 5 children: James Brown (Patricia), Elizabeth Young (Tony), Susan Reiner (John), Robert Brown, John Brown (Mai); her 7 grandchildren: Amanda (Trevor), David, Sarah, Katrina, Jodie, Justin and Cheryl; and 1 great-granddaughter JaiLeigh. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 13th from 4-8 pm, followed by services on Saturday, May 14th between 1-2:30 pm at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA concluding with burial at 3 pm in East Lawn Elk Grove Memorial Park, 9189 Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA.
