Patricia Ann Jordan was born to James Earl Jordan and Pankie Lee Dimmer on September 18, 1945 in Ansley, Louisiana. Later her mother married Ernest Johnson. Pat along with her family which included 13 brothers and sisters migrated northward to Washington State. They settled in the Yakima Valley where they made a living by working in the fields picking asparagus and fruit. Pat attended Prosser High School, where she was an active member in the high school drill team and was crowned Prom Queen. She graduated in 1963.
Following graduation, Pat received a “one-way ticket” to San Francisco, where she established residence with her Uncle Ivory and Aunt Luther Wilson She spent time exploring the Bay Area with her many cousins. Later, she attended Contra Costa College where she studied nursing and cosmetology. Receiving an Associate and Arts Degree.
As a young adult, Pat was introduced to the Lord at the St John Missionary Baptist Church, San Francisco, California, under the leadership of Pastor J.P. Prior, where she became an active member. While working as a nurse, she met her future husband Louis R. Lanier, they raised three children George J. Bouie III, Kareem J. Lanier and Alexis J.D. Lanier. Later she became a member of the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Pastor Arliee Hightower in Oakland, California. She started a career with, the Housing Urban Development Department and eventually moved on to the Social Security Administration and later became a real estate agent with Century 21. She excelled in several key roles before retiring in 2005 after with the General Services Administration Lead Supervisor. Many of her services led her to receiving honorable awards, one directly from previous President of the United States William Clinton.
After relocated to Hercules, California. Pat would eventually become a member of the New Hope Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of her uncle Pastor Ivory G. Wilson. She was church secretary and choir director.
Preceded in death by her parents James Earl Jordan, Ernest Johnson, Ivory Wilson, Tressie Murphy, Luther Wilson, Pankie Lee Johnson, Aunty and brothers Victor Johnson, Ray Wilson, Cedric Wilson(Cecilia), Gregory Johnson. Survived by her children George J. Bouie III, Kareem J. Lanier, and Alexis J.D. Lanier and Brothers Jim Johnson(Dee), Jimmie Wilson, Tony Johnson (Debbie), Jabar Johnson(Amanda), Sisters Earnestine Hughley(John), Carolyn Greene, Katrina Johnson, all of Washington State, Ivory Lavern Powell, Victoria Johnson (Matthew) of Florida and Tamara Long (Juan) of Ohio, Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
