Regina Victoria Blanc

Regina is survived by her daughters Annette Blanc Carruthers and husband Mark Duncan of Sacramento, Janine (Blanc) Buikema and husband Richard Buikema of Elverta; Grandsons Michael Carruthers of Sacramento, Ryan Carruthers of Seattle, and great grandson Ainsley Carruthers of Sacramento. She is preceded in death by Husband Rene Blanc, and sons Conrad Blanc and Paulie Blanc.

Regina was born on 4/30/1921 in Chicago, IL to Walter and Victoria Staskiewicz. She married Rene Blanc, in 1952. Her children remember her as a kind and supportive mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.

Regina was passionate about gardening, reading, and bingo. She was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

A funeral is scheduled for 9/30/2025 10 am at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger, with a reception to follow at The Old Spaghetti Factory, 1910 J street, Sacramento, Ca. All are welcome to attend and celebrate (Regina)’s life. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Friends of Front Street Animal Shelter at 2127 Front Street, Sacramento 95818.
