Born August 8, 1926 in Wichita, KS to parents, Clementine and Cecil Straw. He was called home to God on October 25, 2010. He attended St. Louis University where he earned a PhD in biochemistry. He worked as a clinical chemist in local hospitals for over 20 years. He was a man of great integrity. He loved fishing and hunting (most recently in Africa and England) and passed this love on to his sons. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Marie; sons, Frank, Richard, Tony, Daniel and Matt; daughters, Mary and Paula; 5 daughters-in-law, 2 sons-in-law and 12 grandchildren. Visitation 4-8pm and rosary 6pm Thursday 10/28 at Harry A. Nauman & Son Funeral Chapel. Funeral mass on Friday 10/29 11am at St. Robert Church, followed by interment at St. Mary's Cemetery.
