Robert C. Hogan

Robert "Bob" Hogan died peacefully in his sleep on November 13, 2016, he was 90 years old. He was preceded in death by his wife of more than 60 years, Toni and his daughter Kathy Vona, and is survived by his daughter Patty Wiebe; his granddaughters Suzie Saraba, Katie Vona and Bella Wiebe; his great granddaughters Madison and Sophia Saraba; son-in-law Chuck Wiebe, and grandson-in-law John Saraba. He and Toni resided in the Land Park area for over 50 years where Bob was a licensed electrician, working in many aspects of the profession, including teaching apprentice and journeymen electricians for the Western Electrical Contractors Association. A giving and generous man, Bob volunteered both at church and his daughters' schools. After his wife's death, Bob struggled with Alzheimer’s. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A celebration of Bob's life is scheduled for November 17, 2016 at 10:00 AM, at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger at 5401 Folsom Blvd - Sacramento, CA with a reception to follow. A viewing will precede the service from 9:00 - 9:45 AM. Internment at Fair Oaks Cemetery with the family in attendance will follow the reception. The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, friends and family consider a donation in Bob's name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
