Sacramento, California - Rollin Richard (Dick) Brown
Born January 23, 1933 in Oil Town, Pennsylvania to Lee and Vera Brown. Rollin went to school in Titusville, PA. and joined the U.S. Navy at age 17 where he received an honorable discharge in 1954. Rollin received a Masters Degree in biology from Penn State University and also taught school in both Pennsylvania and California. He retired in 1997 from the Department of Food and Agriculture after 25 years of State service as a biologist. Rollin was a member of the Elks Lodge #6 for over 35 years and VFW Post 8162 in West Sacramento.
Preceded in death by parents Lee and Vera Brown. Survived by Dolores Romani, his loving companion for 45 years. Also survived by his children, Mark Brown (Shari), Lesa Widmer (Matt), and Karl Brown; grandchildren, Jaime Brown, Scott Brown, and Suzanne Brown; grandchildren, Tanya, Shawna; great grandchildren Gavin, William, Rowan, and Shiloh.
