Ronald Michael Garcia, age 68, of Sacramento, California, passed away on Tuesday (March 28, 2017) at Mercy General Hospital after a courageous battle with kidney disease with his sons by his side. Ron was born in Sacramento on October 10, 1948. The only son of Michael and Connie Garcia, Ron graduated from Luther Burbank High School in 1966 when he volunteered for the U.S. Air Force. He was the beloved husband of Marilyn Garcia, preceding him in death in 2005. Ron retired as co-owner of an auto electronics shop in downtown Sacramento in 2006. Retired for ten years, Ron enjoyed fishing, camping, racing cars and riding his motorcycle. Ron is survived by sons Josh and Jake, daughters-in-law Desiree and Christie, and grandchildren Bella and Nico. A viewing will be held on Thursday April 6, from 9:00-11:00 am and services at 11:00 am at Harry A. Nauman & Sons at 4041 Freeport Blvd. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the National Kidney Foundation .
