The College of Business Administration is saddened to announce the death of CBA staff member Mr. Thomas Matlock on Saturday, December 13, 2014, after a brief battle with lung cancer. Thomas joined the College of Business Administration on January 14, 1999. Throughout his career at Sac State, Thomas participated, served, and was involved with numerous committees, associations, and international business communities. In 2013, Thomas was recognized as the Society of Government Meeting Association (SGMP) Planner of the year and in 2014, as the Lead Planner of the Academic Resource Conference in Sacramento, CA. Thomas will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
The College of Business Administration and Thomas’ family would like to invite the campus community to join us for a Celebration of his life on Thursday, January 8, 2015, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., at California State University, Sacramento, Alumni Center, 6000 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95819-6088.
