Va, a longtime resident of Sacramento, passed away on August 24, 2026.
Born in Vietnam, he brought a sense of warmth and resilience to everyone he met. Those who knew Va will remember him most for his resourcefulness, his enduring strength, and his profound dedication to his family. He found his greatest joy in life’s simple pleasures: tending to his vibrant garden, reading current events, sharing a quiet cup of tea, and celebrating life with his family.
Va is survived by his six children; and his eight grandchildren, who were his greatest pride and joy. His legacy of perseverance and strength lives on through his large and loving family and many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held at Harry A. Nauman & Son, 4041 Freeport Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95822, US, on September 16, 2026, from 8:00 am to 10:30 am.
A Committal Service will be held at Hilltop Cemetery, 9420 Waterman Rd, Elk Grove, CA 95624, US, on September 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
