Vera Kathryn Jewell (Williams) of Sacramento passed away surrounded by her family at the age of 91 on Dec. 29, 2015. Known as Grandma Bug or Aunt Bug, she was born in Paragould, AR to Clarence and Bertha Williams. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband L.C., brothers, Olon, Harold and VR Williams, and her son Larry Jewell. She is survived by her sister Ruby Stevens, and her children Shirley Dimig, Jerry Jewell, Kathy Winchester and Jeanette Oldenburg, 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. Kathryn was married to L.C Jewell on January the 19th in 1945 and they were married for 61 years. Kathryn was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt and wife. She was loved by all who knew her. Her sense of humor was off the wall. She always was there for her kids and grandkids. She loved cooking, horticulture and family. A private memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
