Vincent John Ambrose Jr., always known as John, was born in Gridley California on April 25, 1919, to Vincent John Sr. and Katherine Ambrose. John graduated from Sacramento Senior High School. John passed away peacefully on November 18, 2014. Father of Stephen M. Ambrose and grandfather of Stephanie and Eric Ambrose, father-in-law of Edith Ambrose. Viewing is scheduled on December 4, 2014, from 4 to 7 pm at Nicoletti, Culjis and Herberger funeral home at 5401 Folsom Blvd. Internment will be on December 5th, 2014 at 11 am, at East Lawn Memorial Park.
