Vivian Kehaulani Kalua

Vivian Kehaulani Kalua, 86, lived with her son, Lance Kalua & daughter, Stacey aka "Aloha" the last 2 1/2 years in West Sacramento, California, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2026, surrounded by the family she loved so deeply.

She was born Vivian Kehaulani Woo on April 1, 1940, Queen's Hospital, Honolulu, Hawaii to Peter Woo and Josephine Kupukaa.

Mom met the love of her life, Clarence aka "Hawaiian Sunshine" Kalua at dance and the rest is history.

Mom and Dad were married on October 17, 1957; they had two daughters, Dawn Lillard and Stacey Pasion and one son, Lance Kalua.

She was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend whose kindness and beautiful spirit left a lasting imprint on everyone she met. Mom devoted her life to her family and took immense pride in her children,

grandchildren and great-grandchildren, celebrating every milestone as if it were her own. She leaves behind a lifetime of treasured memories-her stories, her laughter, her strength, and countless moments we will forever hold close to our hearts.

She is survived by her loving children:

Son, Lance Kalua, wife, Stacey aka "Aloha"

She is survived by her beloved seven grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren:

Chelsea Fonoti, husband Jordan, Kiera, Kiana, Karter, Konner, Karson, Kamryn;

Brandon Lillard, wife Kaitlyn, Tenley and Levi

Ashley Kalua, Layden, Aleia and Amiyah

Mariah Ulu-Fano, husband Peter and Tali

Joshua Kalua, wife Natalie and Adrian Cruz

Kylie Tighe, husband Brett and Noah

Caleb Kalua, wife Brenda and Callen

While our hearts are shattered by her passing, we are deeply grateful for every moment we were blessed to share with her. Her love does not end here--it lives on in each of us, shaping who we are and how we love others.
