William Don Wakefield

Obituary of William"Billy"Wakefield William "Billy" Don Wakefield was the Second Son of Mary Davidson and the last child. William was born February 27th 1942 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. William moved to Portland, Oregon at the age of eight years old. From there he graduated from Poly High School. And he attended the United States Army at the age of 18 he served for three years In 1962, William married Herbie Jean Jones and they had two children together: Mark Jones , Dore' Wakefield and stepson : Charles Wakefield. William moved to Inglewood, California where he work for American Aircraft Products for 5 years and transfer to Stockton ,California, and continue to work until he retired in 1989. He then moved to Sacramento, California to live out his retirement. William found the Lord in 1999. His hobbies were: fishing, cooking, reading the Bible ,reading, listening to music and enjoy playing cards. William was preceded in death by his: mother Mary Davidson his three sisters: Janie Mosley, Teresa Porter (Sr), Nola Blake, and one brother Thomas "Tommy"Celestine. William left behind one daughter -Dore' Wakefield( residence Sacramento), Mark Jones( residence Portland Oregon), stepson Charles Wakefield (residence Portland Oregon), one grandson Daryl Richardson( residence Vancouver Washington), and two great-grandchildren Isaiah Newman and Takiyah Russell and his ex-wife Jean Herbie Jean Jones his children's mother. And he also had a host of nieces ,and nephews, friends ,God children. You will be truly missed and your memory will never leave our hearts .
